Harvest Festival with Bishop David, followed by Harvest Farewell Lunch in St John’s. Chicken Coronation, Anne’s favourite, will be provided - please bring a delicious salad , not pasta!!! or a scrumptious homemade dessert.
Passover Supper Thursday 1st April 18.30  On Maundy Thursday, to mark the Last Supper that Jesus ate with his disciples you are invited to Anne and Ben’s home we all to come to his table to share together in the Passover Lamb. This is a spiritual occasion with prayers and readings and a sharing of the Eucharist.
Christian Unity  Service at St John’s Wednesday January 20th 20.00  This year it is our turn to host the other churches of all denominations, of St Raphael and Frejus, to the annual service of Christian  Unity. This service will be in French.

Only 19 Praying Days to Christmas! Sunday 6th December  The Rev Peter Anderson chaplain of Cannes Church will be with us to help us think our way through the commercialism and help us prepare ourselves for a meaningful celebration of the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will preach at the morning service and after a bring and share lunch will lead us in discussion.
Sunday November 29th 18.00  “Advent Voices”   Reading and Hymns for the Advent season. We welcome members from all the other churches along the coast and there will be a bring and share supper after the service.
Tuesdays at St John’s in November.  Following Nicky Gumbel’s course “A Life Worth Living”, an exploration of the book of Philippians.  12.30 for a light bring and share lunch, followed by discussion finishing about 15.00
November 1st All Saints with All Souls. Please send in names of those you would like remembered by name at the  service 
Nicky Gumble - "A Life Worth Living" - This is an nine-week course based on the book of Philippians. Beginning from Tuesday October 6th, at St John’s, and Tuesdays thereafter at 11.30 with light bring and share lunch followed by discussion.
A Lent group will be meeting from Tuesday March 3rd 10.30am  entitled “Seeing Salvation – Seeing the face of the Lord” everyone is warmly invited to take part. The first session will take place at Anne and Ben’s house.
Ash Wednesday 25th February  At 10.30 am we will mark this important season in every Christian’s life with a special service of Holy Communion in St John's.. 
Christian Unity Prayer Service on Thursday 22nd January at 20.00 at the Church of Nôtre Dame de la Victoire.
The "Alpha Day” is on Saturday I7th  January, when The Rev Ralph Goldenberg  will be helping us explore the work of the Holy Spirit. All welcome.

Thursday May 1st Ascension Day - Cecile and Jean invite us to join them at Prasada to celebrate Ascension Day. The preacher this year is Mother Anne Verena from the Community of the Companions of Jesus the Good Shepherd. Holy Communion in the garden at 11.00. Followed by a picnic lunch. Bring your own picnic, wine provided.

Ash Wednesday 6th February is the beginning of Lent, there will be a service here at St John’s at 10.30 am.
Starting Tuesday 12th Feb, and every Tuesday in Lent from 10.30 – 11.30 there will be a meeting at Ben and Anne’s home for Lenten discussion.
Christian Unity Prayer Service. This is to be held Thursday 17th January at 20.00 at the Russian Orthodox church.
Tuesday 8th January Monthy meeting for study and prayer takes place here in the church 10.30.

An Ecumenical Prayer Evening is being held on Thursday 1st June at 20.30 in the Catholic Church in St. Aygulf. The theme of the evening is The Lord's Prayer. The choir 'Les Voix de L'Argens' will be singing interspersed with readings.
Ascension Day 25th May 11:00 As every year, we are invited by Cecile and Jean to join them in celebrating Ascension Day. 11.00 Holy Communion in the garden at Prassada in Montaroux followed by a bring and share picnic.
Maundy Thursday 13th April 18.00 On the night that Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with his disciples Ben and Anne invite you to their home to celebrate a "Passover meal" similar to the one Jesus would have shared with his disciples.
Bishop’s visit. Bishop David Hamid, assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Europe, will be visiting St. John’s on Sunday 2nd April.
Retreat for churches of the Riviera. 17th - 19th March at Notre Dame de Laghet. Speaker Rev Martin Draper.
Lent In lent there will be some time for us to reflect upon the booklet ‘A Christian Pocket Guide to Islam,’ by Patrick Sookhdeo, a Muslim convert to Christianity. The booklet is very short and accessible and will not only help our understanding of some of the problems in the world today, but also enhance and strengthen our Christian faith. Dates: Tuesdays, 10.00 at Ben and Anne’s home beginning Wednesday 8th March.
Women’s World Day of Prayer is on Friday 3rd March. A service to mark the day will be held at the Maisons des Péres in Lorgues at 12.00 followed by a bring and share lunch, for those who would like to stay.
Ash Wednesday, Wednesday 1st March. There will be a Communion Service at 10.00 at St. John’s.

Thanksgiving for the life of Brother Edwin of the Glorious Ascension, who died on Saint Luke's Day, and was known by many here. A lovely man and painter of considerable talent. Memorial celebration, Thursday 3rd November 11am at Prasada. Bring and share lunch for those who wish afterwards.

Pilgrimage by local Anglican churches, Friday June 24th, Notre Dame d’Utelle north of Nice. Picnic lunch.
Ascension Day: Thursday May 5th. Eucharist at Prasada. President and Preacher: The Right Rev Dominic Walker, Bishop of Monmouth.
Annual Retreat: Friday 25th February- Sunday February 27th. This retreat is organized by the churches of the Riviera and will be held at Notre Dame de Laghet north of Nice. More information on the board at the back of the church.
Ash Wednesday 9th February, 10.30 am. To mark the first day of Lent there will be a service of prayer and dedication. Please let Ben have your palm crosses to burn to ash before the service, or by the following Sunday, or by post if you are unable to be here.
On Tuesday 25th January the annual "Ecumenical" service for St. Raphaël will be held at St. John's, starting at 8p.m. This will be conducted predominantly in French. Contact the Chaplain for more information
