Centenary Lunch, 29th April 2007 Back

The last weekend in April was the chosen time for the centenary celebrations, to mark 100 years since the consecration of St. John's church in 1907. A celebration Lunch had been arranged at the Brise de Mer hotel, and around 120 people had booked their places. After the meal, Bishop Geoffrey gave a short address, and Church Warden Alan paid tribute to the work Anne had done in bringing the centenary renovations into reality. He presented her with a bunch of flowers, and something concrete for the garden.
