Harvest lunch was held in Freddy's garden, across the road from the Church, and 117 people signed up for a meal of roast chicken, salads, dessert and coffee, washed down of course with a choice of wines. After the meal, Alan and Michael presented Chaplain Ben Eaton with a card signed by all the congregation, and a cheque representing the gift of the congregation, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his ordination.
