With Bishop David Hamid Suffragan Bishop of
Europe We had a lovely Sunday at Joel and Luke's confirmation. The boys had made a banner each to decorate the church. The Bishop reminded both the boys of the biblical significance of their names Joel meaning 'The Lord is my God' and Luke being the author of two books of the Bible. He gave them both a reference to look up in their own books. The boys were presented with Bibles and certificates. A celebratory lunch was held in the church for 50 people. The boys cut a special cake depicting the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove . |
