Harvest Festival was celebtated in St. John's on the 21st September. After the concelebration involving past Chaplains Tom Unsworth and David Sharpe, the Church seating was rearranged in order to feed some 90 participants in a meal of salmon and salad, followed a wide range of desserts.

We also bade farewell to Tony and Barbara Dermott who have been regular worshippers at St. John's for 27 years. Tony has been a server at St. John's for the last 17 years. |
The collection and profit from the meal is destined for the Tearfund's East Africa Appeal for famine relief.
