Harvest Festival 2009  Back

A full church is always good to see, and St. Johns was certainly full for Harvest Festival, with some 120 people for the service, and 90 staying on for Harvest lunch.  The church was beautifully decorated with flowers by Jette, Jane and Elizabeth. Bill and Rosemary carried the harvest gifts of bread and grapes to the altar.

The collection and lunch proceeds today were dedicated to the work of for Dr Atif and Christine Salib at the Mahaba Benevolent Hospital in Cairo.  A total of £1,750 was raised.
