On May 10th the choir sang Mendelssohn's "O for the wings of a dove" during the service. We joined with many other choirs who had pledged to sing this anthem between 8 and 10 May in honour of the 200th anniversay of Mendelssohn's birth, all organised by BBC Radio 3.
