Easter Day
We
warmly welcome you to our worship this Easter morning
Christians have been, and
are, called the “Easter People” because our faith is based on the new life that
we share in Christ, and Easter is our great festival day when we celebrate the
risen Christ, Lord of all.

Centenary Appeal 2004 – 2007
We look ahead now to
2007 which will be the observance of our 100th anniversary. The
Centenary Appeal was launched, a three year
programme to encourage giving so that we can restore the church building for
the anniversary, and to go into the next 100 years. If you have not received
one of the appeal leaflets explaining the details be sure to pick one up this
morning.
Fund Raising Lunch.
Patricia
Poisson invites you to lunch in Bagnols en Foret on Wednesday 21st April.
The cost will be 20 euros in aid of the Centenary appeal. Please sign on the
list at the back of the church.
Bric-a-Brac
Now is the time with spring in the air to clear out all
that odd bric-a-brac cluttering up the place. As a fund raising initiative
Martin Richardson has offered to take any items that we donate and sell them at
a Vide Grenier in aid of the building
fund. If you have some thing to get rid of please bring them to church or if
they are large items talk to Martin so that we can make a list of items for
sale. Items must be saleable please do not land us with a load of rubbish.
Ben
and Anne will be away from the 16th April until the 30th. Alan and Muriel Mathers, former chaplain in
Cannes, will be staying at our house and will be available for emergencies as
will, of course, Leslie Wright, who will be taking the services in our
absence.
