Travel by train Back

If you would like to come into St. Raphaël for the service on Sunday, but find the traffic or the parking daunting, why not try the train?

If you live in the central Var area, you can catch a train from Les Arcs (plenty of free parking) at 09:52 which gets into St. Raphaël at 10:14. Stay in town for lunch and catch a return train at 14:27, getting back to Les Arcs in just 17 minutes (compare that to the RN7 through Puget!)

If you live along the Esterel coast, a train leaves Cannes at 09:29, calling at all stations (Cannes-La-Bocca, Mandelieu-La-Napoule, Théoule-sur-Mer, Le Trayas, Anthéor-Cap-Roux, Agay, Le Dramont and Boulouris) to arrive in St. Raphaël at 10:08. Visitors from this side can get a return train at 12:04, or stay in town for lunch and get a train at 13:53. Both these trains stop at all stations to Cannes.

In an earlier version of this page there was information about the "Decouverte a Deux" tariff, but in 2004 SNCF abolished this for journeys of less than 100kms. There is still the "Carte Senior" for those over 60 years old.

All timings on this page have been taken from the Winter/Spring 2006 timetable - if you want to consult the latest SNCF timetables for this service, CLICK HERE to access the latest rail information for the region from TER-SNCF.
