On Sunday 19 September we celebrated Harvest Festival with a joyful musical service, thanks to a large choir and a congregation that loves to sing. It was good to share worship with some of our loyal visitors who had managed to join us at last. Jane El-Safty produced a wonderful flower display, as always, and our thanks go to her.
Then we recommenced our tradition of beach picnics twice a year after the Pentecost and Harvest Services. The sun was shining but there was a strong breeze. Despite this 12 hardy souls installed theselves on the beach at Le Dramont and enjoyed a time of fellowship together. However, all planned swimming was abandoned because of the waves.
